Prof El Namaki is an authority in Strategic Thinking and artificial intelligence. He is a graduate from Erasmus/Rotterdam (M.A., 1967), Brussels (Ph D, 1976) and MIT (1981).
He has lectured, trained, consulted and built management programs and institutions in no less than 25 countries. His prime focus is on Strategic Thinking, Artificial Intelligence and Entrepreneurship. Some of his writing is incorporated into prestigious graduate management programs of Harvard and MIT. His consultancy and training clients included The World Bank (IBRD), The European Union (EU), International Labor Organization (ILO), Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), International Trade Center (ITC), United National Development Organization (UNIDO), the Economic Commission for Asia, and The Economic Commission for Africa. His corporate involvement included periods with Philips NV (Eindhoven), Time Inc international division (Amsterdam) and McKinsey (London).
Prof El Namaki is founder and past Dean (1984-2002) of the Maastricht School of Management (MSM) Maastricht, The Netherlands. Professor El Namaki has a strong publication record with more than 100 articles and 10 books.
